Ms. Duan is Senior Partner of Qiancheng Law Firm, the Director of Intellectual Property Legal Service Department of the Law Firm.  She has over 32 years of experience with Intellectual Property legal protection in China.  When working as Judge in the Supreme Court of People’s Republic of China, the highest court in China, Ms. Duan heard many influential IP cases and drafted a number of Supreme Court’s judicial interpretations on IP matters which had become important sources of Chinese legal system.

During her over 19-year career of attorney-at-law, she focuses on IP Protection including IP prosecution and litigation, technical transfer & licensing, investment and financing related to IP issues. She also has experience on complicated Business Dispute Resolution and Anti-monopoly cases. Ms. Duan is selected by the Beijing Lawyer Association on the name list of foreign-affairs lawyers. She represented international and domestic clients in many complicated cases and received extensive recognition.  One of her successful case, Hi-Trend Technology (shanghai) Co., Ltd. vs. Renergy Micro-Technologies (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. on dispute of IC layout design infringement, was selected by the Supreme Court of People’s Republic of China as Top 10 cases in 2014.
